The Lion’s Club appointed officers during their club meeting held at the Circle Grill on the evening of Tuesday, July 18. Guest speaker, District Governor Anthony “Tony” Esposito, was in attendance and formally presented the new officers with a keepsake while he appointed them to their new positions within the club.
Suzi Rodgers, President of the Graceville Lion’s Club, introduced District Governor Tony Esposito, who was met with a warm welcome. Tony began his journey with the Lion’s Club in New Jersey, marking the beginning of a fifteen-year association that brought him to Florida. During this time, Tony Esposito held a multitude of positions including club secretary, second and third vice president, president, chairman of the eye clinic, and first and second district governor. Along the way, Tony Esposito has received many certificates from the Lion’s Club, including the District Governors Certificate of Appreciation, International Presidential Certificate of Appreciation, and the Medal of Merit.
