for a joint FDLE and CDBG-MIT Funded Project
RFQ# 2023-02
The Office of the Sheriff, Jackson County invites qualified firms or individuals to submit Architectural Qualifications Packages for Architectural Design Services for the planning, design, permitting and bid document preparation for the Jackson County Sheriff’s Complex, to include a new sheriff’s office, a safe room, and communications tower, located near the corner of Mashburn Rd and Penn Av in Marianna, Florida. FDLE grant 3W016 and CDBG Rebuild Florida Mitigation Program MT-151 will be sources of the overall funding for the project.
All responses will be ranked on a separate and equal basis.
Ranking criteria and requirements may be requested in person by contacting Wesley Burch, Office of the Sheriff, at 4111 Gov. Rick Scott Drive Marianna, FL 32448 or by email at wesley.burch@jacksonso.com.
Five (5) copies of sealed proposals must be received by Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 2:00pm CST, submitted to the Office of the Sheriff, Jackson County, ATTN: Wesley Burch, 4111 Gov. Rick Scott Drive, Marianna, FL 32448.
Submittal envelopes for Architectural Qualifications must be sealed and marked with the RFQ number, “Architectural Qualifications”, “FDLE and CDBG-MIT”, due date, and name of respondent. If more than one envelope is needed, please mark “1 of 2”, “2 of 2”, etc.

Small business and minority businesses, women’s business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process.
